See you in Memphis!
By train and by plane the CTA staff and volunteer leaders are on their way to Memphis! In the days before our Conference, Call To Action staff will be preparing the last minute details to make sure this year is our best! We're excited to be in a new city this year and hope we'll have a little time to explore.
Many movement leaders are also arriving in Memphis a few days early for their annual planning meeting as part of Catholic Organizations for Renewal, a network of reform groups who work together to coordinate their campaigns and strengthen the movement.
CTA Chapter leaders and Anti-racism team will also gather for planning and coordination on Thursday. Our leaders work mostly locally and by coordinating and supporting one another on conference calls and email. Conference is always a great opportunity to reconnect face to face and really dive in to the work of making CTA great and advancing Church reform.
Conference officially starts with day-long workshops and retreats on Friday morning followed by the opening plenary featuring Kerry Kennedy. If you can't make it, be sure to join us on your computer, as many of the talks will be livestreamed!
