Virtual panel, conversation & prayer with:

  • Rev. Myra Brown: She’s the third Black woman in modern history to be ordained as a Catholic priest. She has trained Call To Action’s anti-racism team and is Pastor of Spiritus Christi, a Catholic church in New York.

  • Mary E. Hunt: She’s a feminist theologian. She is co-founder and co-director of the Women’s Alliance for Theology, Ethics, and Ritual (WATER). She lectures and writes on theology and ethics.

  • Katie Lacz: She’s Program Associate for the Women’s Ordination Conference. She has ministered to young adults exploring the intersection of faith and social justice, and is also a spiritual director and writer.

  • Rev. Margaret Watson: She’s a priest from the UK, and Episcopal vicar with the Old Catholic Apostolic Church. She was originally ordained in the Salvation Army. She is working on a catechism with inclusive language.

  • Natalie Lall: She moderated the panel. She is a member of CTA Chicago and a student at Carthage College, where she majors in political science and theater and minors in women’s and gender studies.

  • Kascha Sanor and Claire DesHotels: They led prayer before the panel. They're MDiv students at Loyola University Chicago and members of the 2020 Re/Generation cohort.
