Names of 8 predatory Catholic priests moved to Springfield to be released today at 1:00pm
Today at 1:00pm CT, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) and Call To Action Central Illinois will release the names of eight known predatory priests who were transferred to the Springfield Catholic diocese. Of these, six were ousted from parishes in Chicago when Springfield’s current bishop, Thomas John Paprocki, was the Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
The news conference will take place directly outside the Catholic Pastoral Center, 1615 West Washington Street, in Springfield, IL. Members of the media and the public are invited to attend.
