Join the conversation! Webinar series on ministry to all families announced

For decades Catholics have urged the institutional Church to open up opportunities for dialogue on issues related to the well-being of all Catholic families. This year, Pope Francis has called an Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on the theme "The Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of Evangelization" to take place October 5-19, 2014.

As the bishops and the rest of the Church (us!) prepare for the Synod, Call To Action will host several webinars (interactive online conversations) to explore the joys and challenges facing diverse families in the modern world.

  • What pastoral issues are facing today's families?

  • How can we better minister to the diverse needs of our communities?

  • How might we extend the healing ministry of the church to those who need it?

Join the conversations and help bring people together to create a more welcoming church!

Visit the webinar series web-page here for complete details on the series and how to register.

This is an opportunity for our community to come together and reflect, dialogue, and pray. We invite you, and anyone who may be interested in cultivating a better church, to join us.

The series kicks off on Feb 23rd at 6pm EST/ 3pm Pacific when we will talk about the context, meaning and finding of the survey with Peter Fagan and Sr. Christine Schenk, see you there!
