DignityUSA offers discount to CTA members!

This summer, DignityUSA will hold their exciting convention in beautiful Seattle. Convention is an amazing and energizing way to connect with LGBT Catholics and their allies and learn from some amazing activists and authors. "Together we will explore and learn ways of living and praying that allow us to re-energize, to embrace God’s love and to let awareness of the divine presence in each of us feed our love for others and our work for justice." say organizers.

CTA members receive the member rate as partners in our Equally Blessed coalition. And early bird registration rates apply too. The early bird deadline was just extended to April 15, so don't delay! Young Adult and first time attendee rates and scholarships are also available but only if you meet the deadlines, so be sure to check it out today. The Convention will feature Sr. Simone Campbell, Dan Savage, Paul Countinho and more."

For our advocacy work to be effective, it must be grounded in a deep understanding of God's love. Speakers and facilitators have been chosen to guide attendees in examining and breaking down those barriers that keep us from fully experiencing God's love in ourselves and in others and teaching us to find strength in that love as the foundation for our advocacy." Say the organizers, "Plenary sessions will examine the interplay of spirituality and action, while break-out sessions will explore the wisdom of our spiritual and Gospel traditions as well as practices which support contemplation and action." See you in Seattle!
