CTA families plan for Conference

Our Annual Conference is a great place to build community, and many people come year after year. That can get harder when young kids are in tow, but it also makes the experience that much more important! Our CTA Families group is already planning ahead with advice for one another about travel and calls for sharing a play space for families: the community is getting excited to bring their families to Conference. This year, our kids program will be free, giving parents a chance to enjoy the workshops and kids a place to learn more about creating justice in our world.

For years, the CTA Faith and Families Listserv was a place for progressive Catholics raising young children to connect and share stories, struggles and advice. Recently, the group has moved over to a Facebook page to make it easier for people to join the community. From recommendations for multicultural picture book bibles, to struggling with the question of Catholic vs public elementary school, the supportive community is a powerful resource for parents. If you are a progressive Catholic raising kids, make sure to check out this energized group!
