Join CTA’s Immigration WorkGroup as we gather together to see how a project to support asylum seekers in their journey from the Border to their families or sponsors throughout the country was imagined, developed, and implemented. We hope this will provide a template for other actions of accompaniment and support. There will be opportunity for Q&A and time in a breakout session to brainstorm on how you might develop a project within your own communities to “welcome and walk with the stranger.”

There will be an additional thirty minute session (beginning at noon) for those who want to partner with a project being developed for implementation in September that will support those remaining in Reynosa, Mexico, who are hoping to be able to seek asylum in the United States. Only one registration is needed and those who want only the extended session are free to join at the indicated time.

If you have any questions about this meeting you can contact us at gdbrazier@gmail.com
