Catholic Experts in Women’s, LGBT, Reproductive Health, Family Life Issues Available to Respond to Friday’s Papal Exhortation

April 7, 2016. When Pope Francis’ response to two years of global Synods on the Family, an apostolic exhortation entitled “Amoris Laetitia” (“The Joy of Love”), is finally released on April 8, a number of Catholic experts will be available to help interpret this document. These individuals lead organizations that represent the perspectives of the majority of U.S. Catholics on issues including women’s roles in the Church, reproductive health, LGBT concerns, divorce and remarriage, and access to the sacraments. Most have decades of experience writing, advocating, and teaching on these issues.
