Special appeal: 40th anniversary conference
Forty years ago we were privileged to participate in the original Call To Action Conference in Detroit (October, 1976). We remember this gathering as ground breaking, exhilarating, and a powerful witness to what can happen when Catholics at all levels of leadership come together in the name of justice, peace and community.
Since then, we have continued to be active in Call To Action nationally and locally as presenters, supporters, and co-journeyers in the work of renewing church structures and promoting greater awareness of spiritual, global, and environmental causes. We are grateful for the many ways that Call To Action has continued to support our ministry by inviting us to be presenters at local and national events, and by encouraging our work – especially in the areas of human communication, a holistic vision of sexuality, and its profound roots in biblical justice.
We encourage you to attend the 40th anniversary conference of Call To Action this November in Albuquerque where we look forward to presenting a pre-conference workshop, Where Love and Justice Meet: An Emerging Sexual Ethic for Our Time.
Call To Action has always supported us. That’s why we are asking you to support it with a financial gift this summer. We want the Call To Action charism to continue creating Catholic spaces of openness and love. A gift would help ensure this voice for justice continues!
Please make a gift to Call To Action today by filling out and mailing back the tear off below. As finances continue to be extremely tight, any amount you are able provide to further the cause and mission of Call To Action would be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to greeting you at the 2016 National Call To Action Conference!
In the shared ministry of justice and peace,
