I. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative and logistical support to Call To Action staff and Conference Planning Committee that includes:
- Coordinating invitations, negotiations, and scheduling of speakers as well as on-site logistical arrangements for conference presentations and activities
- Assisting the communication efforts associated with Call To Action’s annual conference
- Serving as Call To Action’s primary on-site staff contact during annual conference
II. Qualifications/Essential skills
- Positive attitude and sense of humor
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate with others, ability to build positive relationships
- Familiarity with conference/convention planning and logistics
- Knowledge of Catholic Church and experience within progressive religious activities
- Commitment to anti-racism/anti-oppression and intergenerational principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Above average organization and time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to readily assume additional and new responsibilities as appropriate
- Excellent PC skills with thorough knowledge of MS Office and Filemaker Pro. Additional software knowledge preferred
- College degree, Bachelors degree preferred
